About This Lesson
Longthorpe Tower in Cambridgeshire, Britain is an interesting survival of a medieval fortified manor house. There are interesting wall paintings in the Tower and possibly the most complete to have survived. This resource would be useful for those planning a study of Longthorpe Tower and is particularly useful if planning a visit. It provides possible activities for students of both history and art.
This is geared for British field trips to the site and if you were a British teacher planning a trip to the site it would be useful as background information. But as an American teacher, it does not have much use at all because it does not fit in any U.S. curriculum. Also, it is 10 years old (needs updated).
