About This Lesson
This lesson gives a kid-friendly demonstration of the first habit from the 16 Habits of Mind, Managing Impulsivity. The 2-minute Habits of Mind Instructional Animation uses animated characters to model the behavior in a fun and engaging way that the students will both enjoy and learn from. The lesson also includes extension lessons for expanded learning. Extension lessons include, fluency exercises, printable activities, Math and Language Arts practice exercises, and classroom lessons. The instructional animation can be used in a full lesson or as a quick reminder when needed.
