About This Lesson
A PowerPoint that helps learners with simple mapping skills. It introduces landmarks and the function of arrows in a story of a boy who wants to show Santa the way to his school. After watching the PowerPoint learners were set a task to draw a simple map from their homes to school with just 5 landmarks that they passed on the way. We also talked about natural and man made features of their routes - and will send the maps to Santa in the hope that he'll visit us!!
