About This Lesson
This section consists of lesson materials for students related to Maya agriculture. There are additional fact sheets for selected plants and animals of the Maya heartland. These may be used independently or in conjunction with the activities included with them. The information and activities are primarily focused upon the foods and agricultural practices of the Maya. Lesson components can be used together as an entire unit, individually as needed, or as differentiated activities for groups within your classroom.
