About This Lesson

The 9th in a new series of videos where each week I visit my favorite mathematics websites. A controversial one this week as it’s the turn of Khan Academy. This is a website with over 2,600 videos of lessons and worked examples, many of them relating the mathematics. The questions are: do you like them, and if so how can the videos be used effectively for learning? I suggest that maybe some sort of “reverse learning” could be employed, or better still why not record your own video? Please share how you use the website below.

A good introduction thanks Craig. I've not had much of a look at Khan either but, like you, I think there must be in it. As for doing them yourself, I've done some but for an awful lot of teachers the tech issues are just too big. The fact that Khan has so many already done is tempting. Thanks for showing me round it and I'll take a bit more of a look in the future.
