About This Lesson
Using a Geoff Giles idea; this activity allows students to build up an understanding of how to partition for multiplication. Print and laminate the rectangles (differentiated by color) so students can draw on them with whiteboard pens.The flipchart includes a variety of different starters and problems (it was created for a wide variety of classes / year groups) so pick and choose.
