About This Lesson

Students will learn how culture shapes how we view the world, ourselves and each other. Oral storytelling was used by Native American cultures to develop respect for nature, understanding between animals and humans and passing of cultural and tribal beliefs. Students will understand and utilize effective listening techniques and engage in student discourse to build awareness.
