About This Lesson
This lesson should come early in the series; after the death of Edward the Confessor but before the battle of Stamford bridge and Battle of Hastings. Students are to research the 3 main contenders for the throne and create a 'pitch' X-Factor style. Set speech; poster and judges comments for homework the lesson before to ensure students are ready for filming (flip cameras are best).
