About This Lesson
I did this as a one-off lesson for grade 6s when they came up to my school for a day before joining us in September. It covers greetings & saying your name, and ends with writing a mini personal profile in French, which I got them to do on a poster and decorate it. You can differentiate it by printing the phrases for students to just fill in the gaps, or get them to do it all themselves. Before doing the profile, we did some activities with cognates that they might use for likes & dislikes (chocolat, foot, cinema, etc)
Very bright and attractive, adaptable resource to practise the basics. Great suggestion of using of cognates to get them using more varied language, gives opportunities for those with broader vocab to show off too. Thanks.
