Are students suppose to just copy the poems as a practice of handwriting?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this collection of quality & interesting poems for my Grade 5 students! Thank you! I am going to make each student a folder with this collection inside that they can take and add to their personal library at home. This activity (which I am using as an introduction to poetry) will help motivate the students to pursue the more difficult phrasing, idea extensions, etc. of the more difficult to understand poems which we will be reading written by Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson and others.
