About This Lesson

2 versions of an activity - reading about different sports; building vocab & then inventing & describing their own sport. The version with the poster is more challenging & the other version has some links to youtube clips of the sports being described. This went down a storm with my 9th Grade class that's made up almost entirely of sports-obsessed boys who are often surprized to find themselves enjoying French!

One word: fabulous! My students will really enjoy this as it gives a twist on the traditional "je joue au foot". Thanks a lot for sharing!
