About This Lesson

Handout and PowerPoint for students to see what the seaside in the UK is like to identify human and physical features. It is set out like an interactive non-fiction text with linked hyperlinks. At the end there is a glossary and students are asked to compare what they have learnt about the British seaside with beaches in the USA.

This is a fantastic resource. I teach in an international school and these pictures are a great way to show my class what a British seaside looks like! thanks

Very useful for vocabulary acquisition for younger learners, too. Great scope to generate speaking and communication develpment, too. Thank you

The format and photos are great, although there are no real instructional strategies.
