An alternative to 'Florence Nightingale'; a history topic on Shackleton and his crew's incredible story of survival. This new topic was met with lots of enthusiasm and empathy from our students. There are also some good opportunities for cross-curricular work on 'Forces & Friction' in Science and also 'Making Sledges' in DT.
