The English Heritage site is amazing. The focus on Edward Colston is a useful and informative activity, but you will need to check which of the links to other websites on the Teacher's notes work as not all of them still link to relevant sites.

The debate activity is creative and thought-provoking. This activity could supplement a full lesson plan with objectives and instructional methods.
