About This Lesson
<p>This resource provides the historical background, description of the site, documentary sources and activity ideas and would be particularly useful to those planning a visit to the site. St Augustine’s is one of the oldest Anglo-Saxon monastic sites in the UK.</p>
This is geared for British field trips to the site and if you were a British teacher planning a trip to the site it would be useful as background information. But as an American teacher, it does not have much use at all because it does not fit in any U.S. curriculum. Also, it is 10 years old (needs updated).
