About This Lesson
Students will learn how to define the elements of an equation written in the form p + x = q. Students will also be able to write equations in the form p + x = q to represent real world and mathematical situations. Afterwards, students will be able to solve equations in the form p + x = q by using reasoning to isolate the variable.
