About This Lesson
Every child needs to feel special. Each week, I feature one student in my class. For the whole week, the child does all the jobs that need to be done in the class, i.e. line leader, teacher assistant, calls rows to line up, etc. The Friday before his/her turn to shine, I send the parent letter home with the All About Me form. On a bulletin board in my classroom, I post the child's pictures and artifacts. Parents are encouraged to come in for a visit. The children can hardly wait until it's their turn to be star!
