This is a brilliant tarsia for use at A-level when studying transforming functions (core 1 or core 3). Students are told how a coordinate has been transformed and must use this to write the equation of the transformed function f(x). Really tests their understanding, this would make an ideal main activity which would allow you to listen in to their discussions which is so valuable. Thank you for sharing.
