About This Lesson

This lesson is an introduction to the mystery of the Tollund Peat Bog Man and what happened to him. This lesson is designed to get younger students questioning evidence. They have to make a decision as to whether he was murdered; committed suicide or it was an accident. Students should work in pairs and the teacher drip feeds the information gradually to encourage students to form opinions and have them challenged. They then can present their decision to the rest of the class using the evidence.
