About This Lesson
Students will explore the use of trees and the influence of nature to discover more about the Shinto Deity and importance of nature in the Shinto belief system. They will make connections to cultural ideas and their everyday experiences by listening to Shel Silverstein’s book The Giving Tree. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger).
