About This Lesson

An activity I made for my middle school social studies students...

Students will have started studying about the French & Indian War and its effects on the colonies. The colonial discontent helps to fuel the American Revolution. Students will need to use this information to assume the role of a stakeholder in colonial America and present the stakeholder’s position with fact-based information.

I find it very odd to mix

I find it very odd to mix characters from TV and movies with historical Native American figures. Why not choose real stakeholders like Penelope Barker and others from your community?

My students helped select

My students helped select characters. Several are also teachers or other adults from our school.
