About This Lesson
This unit is comprised of 9 lessons designed to help students understand the basics of foundations technique. Each lesson builds on the one prior, and is specifically focused on getting students to identify correct and incorrect technique both visually and aurally. Exercises are built in to help students feel these techniques themselves. At the end of the unit is an authentic assessment that requires students to work in groups to design vocal warm-ups using what they’ve learned in order to cultivate one or more of the techniques topics from the lessons.
