About This Lesson
I made the YouTube video (link below) to serve as a resource for my students when we study hydrology. The video defines the following water quality indicators and states their causes and effects: turbidity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, hardness, phosphates and nitrates, bioindicators. It also notes which are biotic and abiotic.
I am having my students use the link to take notes about each type. Feel free to have students go directly to the video to work at their own pace or use it on the big screen in class.
