About This Lesson
Put students into groups and give each group a map. Stick the written descriptions around the classroom (far enough away from the tables that students can't read them). Each team sends one student at a time to their text; they read one of the phrases and come back to draw weather symbols on the map for what they remember of it; while another student goes up and so on. The descriptions are all different so students can't cheat and look at other groups' work! This helps them build skills in teamwork; memory and thinking skills.
Lovely activity, it gets them moving and using a multitude of skills. Thank you for sharing this!
