About This Lesson
Students will examine the Hanuman Mithila painting, describe what they see, and generate hypotheses about the images in the painting with questions to guide them. They will then learn about Hanuman through stories and have an opportunity to learn more about the visual elements, cultural, and religio More…us background of the painting. Their lesson will culminate in students creating a short story, skit, or comic strip to help them synthesize what they learned.
