Students then explore the symbiotic relationship between empire building and the industrial revolution and build different interpretations.Objectives:To identify qualities needed to be an empire builder (explorer). To make a judgment as to the most important motives to build an empire.
Although geared to UK this can be easily adapted and a good resource to support a unit on explorers.
