About This Lesson

This resource give a historical description of Wingfield Manor, UK, the incomplete remains of a late medieval palace. Students can learn what it was like to live in a medieval palace and could be encouraged to think about why it was designed and laid out it this particular way.

This is geared for British field trips to the site and if you were a British teacher planning a trip to the site it would be useful as background information. But as an American teacher, it does not have much use at all because it does not fit in any U.S. curriculum. Also, it is 10 years old (needs updated).
