About This Lesson

<p>Image one is the bombed-out facade of a terrace of Georgian houses in Frillbay Road in Plymouth, UK. One of the buildings housed the Permanant Building Society. In image two pedestrians go about their daily routines oblivious to the bomb damage surrounding them in Great Charlotte Street, Liverpool. Use the attached webpage for lots more images related to World War Two.</p>

A brilliant website that contains huge numbers of images of places in England, sorted by theme, with information, interactive activities, teaching resources and loads more. I hope they continue adding to this site because it is amazing!

Image #1 does not open.
Tags are for Britain and not for U.S. standards.
Could add World History grade 9, 10 Global Conflicts to a classification.
