About This Lesson
Students will be able to complete a graphic organizer identifying text features and explaining how
the specific text feature helps the reader better understand key points about the article. The students will also be able to work cooperatively in groups to write and discuss how specific graphic features help the reader to identify and understand key points the author is trying to get across. At the end of the lesson, student will present their ideas to the class and explain their findings.
