Hello my name is Denisa L. Brooks, when I was younger I always thought I'd be a lawyer, but when we played school I always wanted to be the teacher. So later in my life when I was deciding on graduate school, and my mother pressed the issue of law school, I disagreed. Some people say they were called for a mission by the Creator, and some are a little skeptical, well that's what happened.
The Creator placed on my heart the needs of our children and how I could best serve them. I'm a realist with an intention to positively affect the lives of every child that attends a public school, every child who is socially and economically disadvantaged, every child forgotten when bureaucrats cut education budgets first.
So my penchant for arguing (yeah that's me too), will serve a greater cause than a case, with guidance it will affect the entire system of pubic education.
