About This Lesson
Students create a brochure about a particular biome. After direct instruction we go to the computer lab to research. The students are then placed into groups with other students who have different biomes and present their travel brochures to each other. The idea is they are trying to "sell" their biome as an excellent place to visit. This allows creativity and communication, 21st century skills infused into the process. I use this as a project based summative assessment.
