About This Lesson
Submitted to the EQuIP Review Panel by New York State Department of Education and developed by Great Minds. In this module, students reconnect with and deepen their understanding of statistics and probability concepts introduced in middle school. Students will develop a set of tools for understanding and interpreting variability in data, and begin to make more informed decisions from data. Specifically this unit focuses on the following standards: S-ID.1 through 3, S-ID.5 through 9, 6.SP.1 through 5, 8.SP.1 through.4, and Mathematical Practices 1-5.
