About This Lesson

At the inception of the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights was created to limit government power and ensure certain freedoms for citizens. In order to uphold these rights, young Americans need to first be educated about them. In this lesson, students will learn exactly how each amendment protects citizens, and then they will apply this knowledge to real-life experiences in which they will need to exercise their constitutional rights to get out of sticky situations.
