About This Lesson

The title of this unit is the Introduction to Figurative Sculptures at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was designed for high school students and consists of four lessons which range from the principles of gesture and meaning to the use of armatures. This resource includes learning objectives, standards, required materials, step-by-step procedures, vocabulary and some ideas for expanding on the lessons. CCSS alignment: L.9-10.5 , SL.9-10.1
